In The World's End, the third and final installment of the trilogy parody created between Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg, after "Shaun of the Dead" and "Hot Fuzz", five friends are reunited after twenty years of these parties you never forget, celebrating their high school graduation. That day had started an epic journey from pub to pub, but without getting to the last pub on the list, "The World's End".

Now they decide to try again, pushed by their then leader, Gary King (Simon Pegg), who already passed forty but is still trapped in his teens, seeing how time has distanced them all. Determined to repeat the feat that they left unfinished, they meet on a Friday afternoon ... but although it begins as a party, they'll soon realize that not only must they fight for their future, but for the whole human race.
